Gib Bassett

Gilbert (Gib) W. Bassett, Jr.

Gib joined the Board of Directors for First Eagle Bank in 2004. He is currently the head of the Finance Department at UIC. He is the founding Director of the International Center for Futures and Derivatives at UIC where he is Emeritus Professor of Economics and Finance.

Gib received a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan.

 

   
James A. Field

James Field

James A. Field, a founding member of the firm Field & Goldberg, LLC and partner in charge of the real estate tax group. Mr. Field has significant experience in Real Estate Tax Appeals. Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, Mr. Field received his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law and his L.L.M. in real estate with honors from the John Marshall School of Law. He is also a graduate of Indiana University School of Business.

Mr. Field is a member of the Chicago Bar Association Committees on Real Estate Taxation and Real Property, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association – Committee on Taxation. Mr. Field is a frequent lecturer at the Chicago Bar Association, the John Marshall Law School, Lorman Educational Services and at a multitude of financial institutions and law firms.

   
Pat Kaveney

Patrick Kaveney, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Pat joined First Eagle Bank in 1989 as Vice President/Cashier. In 1997 he was elected to the Board of Directors and today is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Pat oversees the daily operations of the Bank including financial, regulatory and operating functions at the Bank. Pat is a member of the Hanover Park Business CONECT committee and works with DuPage Habitat for Humanity and their Neighborhood Revitalization Project within the Greenbrook/Tanglewood community in Hanover Park.

 

   
Andy Salk

Andy Salk, President and Chief Executive Officer

Andy is part of the investor group that acquired First Eagle Bank in 1991. His thirty-five year banking career started with Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, PA and also includes River Oaks Bank in Calumet City, IL, The Exchange National Bank of Chicago, and LaSalle Bank. In addition, Andy is a Board Member of Community Investment Corporation, the leading lender for affordable rental housing in Chicago; a member of the Accion Advisory Council; and a member of the Board of Trustees of Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, a neighborhood revitalization organization committed to helping homeowners and strengthening neighborhoods.

   
   
Rose Wageman

Rose Wageman, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer

Rose has worked with the Salk family for over thirty years, beginning her banking career as a management trainee with River Oaks Bank in Calumet City, IL. In 1991 Rose joined First Eagle Bank. Today, Rose has overall responsibility for retail and lending operations, including commercial lending, consumer lending, compliance, credit administration, and interfacing with regulators. In 2012 she was elected to the Board of Directors. In addition, Rose is on the Board of Directors for Deborah’s Place. Deborah’s Place is the oldest and largest provider of housing for women experiencing homelessness in Chicago.

   
Adam Winick

Adam Winick

Adam has served on the Board of Directors for First Eagle since 2006. Professionally, Adam is the Vice President of ICM Properties, Inc., a real estate investment and management company. Adam received his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Adam currently is a member of the Board of Directors at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. Previously Adam was a Board Member at the Solomon Schechter Day School of Metropolitan Chicago. Adam also served on the Board for the Jewish United Fund, the largest not-for-profit social welfare institution in Illinois.
