SunMark Community Bank is a community bank chartered by the state of Georgia in 1949. The bank opened with three employees and $1.4 million in assets and has grown to over $140 million in assets and over 60 employees. SunMark Community Bank was the first bank in the surrounding area to offer drive-through banking in 1961. In 1987 the bank installed an in-house computer system which allows us to be totally independent of larger banks for data processing. In June of 1996 we changed our name to SunMark Community Bank.

Directors, officers and employees of the bank have served with the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Lion’s Club, Kiwanis Club, Civitans, and RAFB Military Affairs Committee. They are also extremely active as volunteers in the United Way, Heart Association, PTO, and the American Cancer Society. They have participated in local school projects in both Houston and Pulaski counties and are active members and leaders of local churches.

Hawkinsville and Warner Robins are conveniently located in the center of the state. In addition, our locations are only 30 minutes apart, both are located close to Interstate 75.
