President Biden will sit down for another interview, this time for NBC's Super Bowl pregame program.

Lester Holt, host of NBC Nightly News, will interview Biden in Virginia on Thursday, with segments airing that evening on Nightly News and Friday morning on Today. The entire interview will be aired during the Super Bowl pregame show at an undetermined time.

The interview will be Biden's first of 2022, as well as his first official interview since completing his first year in office.

The Super Bowl presidential interview is a relatively new tradition, beginning with President George W. Bush and continuing with President Barack Obama. President Donald Trump attended while Fox and CBS held the Super Bowl rights, but he did not go in 2018 when NBC hosted the event.

Norah O'Donnell interviewed Biden on CBS in 2021, only a few weeks after he took office.

The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals will compete for the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LVI on February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
